Cinemagraphs : still photographs in which a minor and repeated movement occurs. Cinemagraphs, which are usually published in an animated GIF format, gives the illusion that the viewer is watching a video.  

Here's a couple we recently put together for our clients Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace and the Social Bar at Palms Hotel.

I'll take one of everything.  Love the new textures & tones of Bellagio's new Rooms.  Shooting a new Guest Room as beautiful as this - always our Fav.............& is becoming our specialty.  If your Guestroom doesn't look like this...... just let us get a'hold of it :)

The famous Cipriani family [Harry's bar, Cipriani Dolce...restaurants, clubs & residences] launch their First [fine leathery smelling goodness] Resorts....and....as Italians DO - an experience unlike any-Other......ahhhhh La bella vita! 

pheww,,,,,,all this fine Italian leather detailing keeps bringing Us back to those hand-made Italian shoes....Cipriani Shoes anyone? yes please :)

Love LOVE, Loooove is all you Need

Working with your spouse everyday like US, We count on LOVE to get us through! Not only is february a Month filled with LOVE for Valentines Day...... it's also the month Rouse + Spouse said I DO [I  WILL, I DID]

I take THEEEee photography..... for as long as We both shall Live :)

This week, we were FiLLed full of loVe! for the 50 faces we photographed for the new Station Casinos "We Love Locals" campaign.  Oh Chet, Harry, Mary, & James...... {so many more} Thanks for all the Laughs.... probably the most memorable week we've ever had!

Two Brand new hotels, award winning Interior Design & a creative Group like SK+G can only lead to..... gwoorgeous Images.  We spent two crazy fun weeks between ARIA & Vdara [inside City Center in Las Vegas].

client requests : minimal props & Styling, True Views - Just clean architecture.  Soo, We kept the chilled champagne [prop] all to ourselves this time :)

Meet about Meetings

It's true. if a meeting goes well, we'll go ahead & recap it ..... in annnnother meeting.  At the Surf & Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach, we'll meet about anything - all day.  Let's just meet there.

2010 has been the year of - Meeting spaces & Conference setups..... so by now, we LOVe em'.  

Not just photography - we did it all [from picking linens & place settings to arrangements & centerpieces.... that makes a plain meeting space - lots of awesome].

reStore, Revive and rePlenish @ the Bellagio Spa

We always promised the Crew One day. Someday. we'll all go to the spa, ALL together :)  Well, that day finally came.  

We've been honored to shoot for the Bellagio Hotel for the past few years.  This month, they asked us to update their Spa & Salon photography without any New renovations.  This space was gorgeous as is - it just needed a little updated photo-LoVe.  

modern Angle.  Timeless styling.  luxurious lighting. done.

the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe

Knows how to treat it's guests, and even those photographer types.  Kinda Ashamed to even say this... bUT...The photos really don't do this property justice, ha ha.  It is spectacular.

Our crew had the sweet dreamy pleasure of spending 10 days experiencing hospitality at it's Best.....The Ritz Carlton way.
[of course, That being Champagne & strawberries everyday at 3pm - extra images...You got it :)]

We're so thrilled with the images! This was our first photo-shoot on the preferred Ritz Carlton Photographers list & we look forward to completing the winter portfolio [snow boarding] this year!

Clint decides that Annie needs help to see through the camera... his brilliant idea, taping blocks to her Feet.  His best Mr. fix it yet :)

Room with a View [....the Joys of electricity & Ocean]

After Nagging us to death, and the torturing of many a poor Client.  Rouse's dreams have finally come True [not the creepy hershey's chocolate bath one, the other one.] A Room with a View. 

It's not easy to convince a client to take a newly renovated room down to the Beach [...... only 5ft from the crashing waves of high tide].    Luckily, we Met the perfect client - the Surf & Sand in Laguna Beach.  This hotel is SOo close to the ocean that the waves actually HIT the hotel bar AND the rooms have complimentary earplugs.  [so while some people buy Soothing Ocean sounds on CD......... Other's Earplug.]  

We could not have done this without the unbelievable staff of S&S.  Taking 12 hotel staff members, a thrill-seeking PR director, the Sweetest Marketing manager and 3 Rouse's 6 hours to put together.

Nauseous about "What They Ate"

Robert Earl Wells IV will EAT anything.  Well, we already knew that [ask us about his Solo trip to Carls Jr. Circa 2006 = receipt totaling over $45].  Sooo, when we heard He was eating WeiRd things for a History Channel Pilot  - It seemed very fitting.  

"What They Ate" is a new "reality" type show airing on the History Channel this fall.  Rob will be eating the true mongolian warrior way thousands of years ago. What way is that? - by killing his own Food [sheeps head Eyeballs, raw Yak meat, & Blood Sausage] and serving it to his poor innocent family [in the backyard of their la Jolla Home].

Should be....interesting, and we Can't wait!

.....and Sweet lil Baby Girl

At only 5 days old, we photographed our sweet friends new {& the last of 4} Baby Girl.  Meet Ms. Siera Jade Brown.

We've been in some stressful situations - BUT a tiny 5 day old is lil scary [& fragile!]   Especially with a 25lb Hasselblad [& a tri-pod] directly above sleeping Siera.

You haven't seen a Rouse's heart race so Fast [since his first Sky Dive!].
